Cookie policy
The essential storage and optional analytics used on www.afrieurolinks.com.
Last updated: 1 August 2026.
1. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies and similar browser technologies store or read small pieces of information needed to operate a website, remember a choice, protect a form or understand site use. Some are set by the website and others may be set by an approved third-party service.
2. Essential technologies
The site uses PHP session identifiers to protect contact and contribution forms, validate CSRF tokens, rate-limit submissions and control temporary document downloads. Local browser storage records whether you selected analytics or essential-only use. These functions are necessary for the service and security and cannot be disabled through the consent panel without impairing requested functionality.
3. Analytics
Google Analytics tag G-2JLP4BCLEQ is installed through Google Consent Mode. Analytics storage is denied by default. It is granted only when you select “Accept analytics.” Analytics may process page views, approximate location, device, browser, referrer and interaction information to help us understand aggregate use and diagnose problems. Advertising storage, ad-user-data storage and ad-personalisation storage remain denied.
4. Current storage categories
| Category | Purpose | Typical duration | Choice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential session | Form protection, temporary download authorisation and security | Browser session or server session lifetime | Required |
| Consent preference | Remember analytics or essential-only choice | Until browser storage is cleared or the site changes the consent key | Required to remember choice |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate usage and technical performance | Determined by Google's configured analytics storage and browser settings | Optional |
5. Choosing and changing your preference
On the first visit, the privacy panel offers “Accept analytics” and “Essential only.” Closing the panel records essential-only use. Select “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the panel and change your choice. You may also clear site data in your browser. Revoking consent affects future analytics storage; information already lawfully processed may remain in aggregated or retained records.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking all storage may prevent forms, preferences and temporary downloads from working correctly. Browser “do not track” signals are not a substitute for the site's explicit consent control.
7. External websites and embedded services
Links to LinkedIn, partner websites and other external services open outside AfriEuro Links. Those operators may use their own cookies and tracking subject to their policies. The site does not currently require third-party advertising cookies.
8. Changes
We will update this policy if the tag configuration, storage categories or third-party services materially change. Where required, consent will be requested again.
